Our villa is located on Huskvarnaberget in a quiet family-friendly villa area. We moved into the house in the summer of 2024 and have started renovating to put our mark on the house.
The villa is suitable for a large family or two smaller families (8 normal-sized beds). So if you have children who share beds, it is completely okay to be about 10 people. Otherwise, it is a maximum of 8 adults. Sheets, towels and final cleaning are included.
If you are a group planning to party, this is the wrong accommodation as it is located in a very quiet residential area. We have nice neighbors who we want you to respect. No smoking or pets are allowed.
There are four separate bedrooms, a guest room located on the lower floor with a sofa bed (1 x 140 cm). This room also has a TV and a patio door with a veranda outside. There are three bedrooms on the upper floor (a children's room with 1 x 90 cm bed, a children's room with 1 x 105 cm bed and a bedroom with 1 x 180 cm double bed). There are also 2 good 90 cm foam mattresses to put on the floor in any room.
We have two living rooms, one for watching TV with a sofa on the upper floor with a balcony and a "fine room" with a dining area for 8, sofa, armchairs and a stove. There is no TV here, but time for conversation while listening to the record player.
We have two bathrooms, one with a toilet on the lower floor and one on the upper floor with a toilet and shower.
The kitchen is well equipped, there is a small dining table with 4 chairs. There is a dishwasher (45 cm with top basket for cutlery). Large fridge and freezer, the stove is a glass ceramic hob.
Adjacent to the kitchen is our outdoor room with a table and chairs for 6, but the table is extendable and can easily seat 10 (4 extra chairs are available). Outside the outdoor room there is a Muriikka and grill to borrow.
Our laundry room/groventre has a washing machine and dryer. There is the possibility of hanging clothes on a hanger and on a drying rack. There is also an outdoor drying rack.
There are two parking spaces in the driveway. But the street outside is not a main road so it should be ok to park there. Electric car chargers are available. Bicycles are not included, but there is the possibility of locking your own in the garage.
The garden has been carefully built up by the previous owners. Raspberries, blueberries, wild strawberries, currants, rhubarb, apples, strawberries are some of the goodies found in the garden. A trampoline for those who like to jump is set up outside the outdoor area for the best supervision of the children.
Waste sorting is available in our regular garbage bins (residual waste, food waste, glass, metal, plastic, paper packaging, newspapers).
Wifi, fiber, TV subscription, Netflix available.
5 minutes walk on the same street there is a small convenience store for small purchases, hairdresser and pizza. Elmia is 10 minutes by car away. If you have electric bikes with you (the hill is steep) there are cycle paths all the way. The bus stop is about 5-10 minutes walk.
Pets, smoking and parties/events are not allowed.
We want our guests to feel at home. That's why bed linen, duvets, pillows, bath towels and hand towels are included. Dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper are also included. We are responsible for the final cleaning.
