Storlien is a mountain paradise both summer and winter and is located about 6 miles from Åre and about 3 miles from Ånn, right on the Norwegian border. Via E14 it takes approx. 45 min or 25 min to resp. destination by car. There are also trains to Storlien and also between Storlien and Åre. Here you can hike straight out onto the mountain, ride a mountain bike or fish in the many ponds within walking distance of the cabin. In Storlien there is also a new mountain retail center with, among other things, a large grocery store, sports store, pharmacy, etc., as well as restaurants and services within walking distance.
